January 15, 2012 - God Is All Knowing

God not only is the Creator of all that there is, but He also knows every detail of our lives - the wonderful doctrine of God's omniscience. This can be a wonderful or scary thing to comprehend, but our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, talked with the children about the wonder of God's ability to know them and everything about them.

January 8, 2012 - God Made Something Out of Nothing

On this Sunday, our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, talked with the children about how God created all that there is out of nothing, the doctrine of ex nihilo. Then, he shared with the children that not only did God create, but He also cares for His creation, especially the people He created.

January 1, 2012 - Learning to Help Other People

On this New Year's Day, our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, talked with the children about the importance of learning to help other people.

On this fourth Sunday of Advent as we share about Love, our WMU Director, Kathy Roberts, with a special guest, introduces the children to the tradition of the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International or Foreign Missions.

On this third Sunday of Advent, Associate Pastor, Rev. Erica Cooper, uses the candy cane to talk about joy in the celebration of Jesus birth.

December 4, 2011 - Hope in This Christmas Season

On this second Sunday of Advent, our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, led our children and our congregation to consider the hope that is ours through Jesus Christ and His coming.

November 27, 2011 - The Source of True Peace

Today is the first Sunday of Advent. Our church emphasized Peace on this day. Our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, talked with the children about way they find peace and comfort which led to the source of true peace.

November 20, 2011 - The Many Ways We Give Thanks

On this Sunday before Thanksgiving, our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, along with a guest, talks with the children and the congregation about our church Food Pantry Ministry and the 3rd Annual Turkey Can Run, which brings in donations of canned goods to feed those in Jackson County who are hungry.
