July 24, 2011 - The Smallest Things Can Make a Big Difference
Today, our emphasis was on how God can use the small and unexpected in our lives to accomplish that which is truly important. Our preschool director, Kendra Abee, in talking with the children in Happy Club, illustrated this concept of how the smallest things can make a big difference.

July 17, 2011 - The Meaning of Prayer
In our services, we were emphasizing the importance of prayer, so our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, chose to also talk about the meaning of prayer with the children. As a part of this, he had invited the children to write some prayers of their own and bring them.
There was a technical difficulty with the audio in the 8:30 Happy Club. We apologize for this inconvenience.

July 10, 2011 - The Importance of Struggle in Our Lives
In today's service, we focused on the value of struggle in the lives of Christians. To emphasize this to the children, our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, used an object lesson and then in the 11 a.m. service an example - which you should not miss!

July 3, 2011 - Staying Connected to God
Unfortunately, the American Dream with its call for independent action and self-determination has often caused us to forget that we are dependent upon God. With an object lesson from the vine (in this case, a tomato vine), our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, talks with the children about our need to stay connected to God.
There is no Happy Club from the 8:30 a.m. worship service.
