November 14, 2010 - Idle Faith: Doing Your Part

Today, with a title of Idle Faith, our service dealt with the issue of our work being an act of worship and that God expects His people to always be about His work in our world. Rev. Erica Cooper, with this theme, spoke to the children about the importance of each one doing his or her part.

November 7, 2010 - Sharing at Christmas

On this Sunday, we were focusing on community: we looked at the community of saints who have gone before us (All Saints Sunday), we shared in the local community of faith by celebrating communion together, and our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms talked with the children about our need to think of our worldwide community as he discussed sharing Christmas with boys and girls around the world through the ministry of Samaritan's Purse and their Operation Christmas Child.
