Our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, talks with the children today about the difference between counterfeit, or fake, and real love, and the importance of showing real love to others.

Kyle had the opportunity to speak with our children and he talked about recognizing God's voice.

We apologize, but there is no 8:30 Happy Club video for today.

August 14, 2011 - The Lord's Supper

On this day at First Baptist Church of Jefferson, Georgia, we celebrated the Lord's Supper or Communion. And, we did it early enough in the service that the children who are usually in Children's Worship for the latter part of the service were able to observe this solemn event. For Happy Club, our pastor, Dr. Michael Helms, talked with the children about the meaning of the Lord's Supper, helping them by both sharing the meaning and background, as well as encouraging them to ask questions.
